Visited by famous musical group beatles in 1968 rishikesh is now like melting pot of various culture. Lakshman Jhula Ram Jhula Bridge is centre for tourist activities while Ashrams like Sivananda, Parmarth and Dayananda is busy with spiritul seekers. Ghats of river Ganga is largely visited by pilgrims for taking holy bath.
